90-Day / 3,000-Mile Limited Warranty
Every qualifying motorcycle sold by Gotham Powersports includes a 90-day limited warranty or 3,000 miles of coverage — whichever comes first. Coverage begins on the date the motorcycle is registered in the buyer’s name.
This warranty is designed to give you peace of mind by covering unexpected mechanical or electrical issues that may arise during normal street use shortly after purchase.
Coverage Overview
During the coverage period, the warranty applies to failures of key mechanical and electrical components that impact the normal operation of the motorcycle.
Engine & Drivetrain
Coverage includes internal engine components, lubrication-related parts, transmission systems, and primary drivetrain components when failures occur under normal riding conditions.
Clutch & Power Delivery
Clutch components are covered as long as the issue is not caused by misuse, abuse, or riding conditions outside of normal street use.
Cooling & Fuel Systems
Cooling system components and fuel delivery systems essential to engine performance are included.
Electrical & Electronic Systems
Coverage includes engine management systems, required sensors, charging system components, and electrical systems related to starting and normal operation.
Repairs & Service Location
Warranty repairs are completed at a repair facility approved in advance. You are not required to return the motorcycle to our dealership.
When needed, we work directly with the repair facility to review the issue, approve repairs, and help ensure the process is handled quickly and efficiently.
Authorization Process
- Report any issues as soon as they are noticed
- Repairs must be approved before work begins (except in emergencies)
- All diagnosis and repairs must be performed by qualified repair facilities
This process helps ensure repairs are properly documented and completed without delays.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Routine maintenance or scheduled service items
- Normal wear items (tires, brakes, belts, chains, sprockets, fluids, filters)
- Cosmetic or appearance-related concerns
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, overheating, neglect, or improper maintenance
- Track use, racing, or competition
- Modifications, tuning, ECU flashes, or aftermarket performance upgrades
- Issues caused by contaminated fuel, incorrect fluids, or improper storage
These exclusions reflect standard expectations for pre-owned motorcycles.

Warranty coverage applies to motorcycles operated under normal street conditions and maintained according to manufacturer-recommended service guidelines.
